What is LoveRally?

LoveRally is mainly a letter writing (or card sending) campaign to spread love to those that need it.  For the price of a postage stamp and a few minutes of your time, you can show your support.  You can literally do this in your pajamas, in your spare time, or on your lunch hour!  Imagine receiving love and support from people you don’t even know — from all over the world.

LoveRally is a creative outlet where people can come together with the single purpose of making life happier for another person.  It’s really that simple!  Just like a yawn is contagious — so is a smile.  Try and think of the feeling that you get personally when you are around positive people — you become happier and more positive yourself.  You start looking at life differently.  That is the idea behind LoveRally.  A bunch of like-minded people spreading love, good-will, compassion, happiness, and positive thought.

Why was LoveRally started?

I don’t know about you, but I am in no way, shape, or form, financially able to make an impact in this world like I would like too.  The good thing is that we don’t have to have a lot of money to make a big difference!  Sometimes all someone in need requires is love!  That boost of confidence, or knowing that someone out there is thinking about them and rallying behind them.

Do you have to pay to join?

Who can join? Is it only for people in the US ?

Of course not!  Have you looked at the world lately?  If we don’t start taking a serious look at ourselves and start changing, we’re headed for a heap of trouble!  Everyone — worldwide — can benefit from giving and receiving some love and kindness!  EVERYONE in the entire world can join!!!!!  Check out that snippet of song lyric in the very top of the sidebar!!

Here at LoveRally, there are no distinctions between race, religion, color, sex, or anything else in this world that disconnects us from each other.

Why do you take donations?

Sometimes people need a bit more than positive thought and a confidence booster!  Whether it’s purchasing a gift card so that a woman in a shelter can buy a new suit for a job interview… or rallying our dollars to purchase a video console for terminally ill children in a hospital… random acts of kindness do cost money sometimes!  Donations are the sole funding for these special needs!

While it might not be easy to donate a big chunk of money, it is really, really easy to come up a few cents!  If a group of people all combined a few cents each, that could turn into big dollars to make a difference! Imagine if a thousand people donated just $1 each.  Imagine how many people that could help!  Our Rally Missions will focus on people who are in need.  Regular people like us will show our support through love, words, prayers, and rallying behind folks in need… or combining a few cents each to make those big dollars!  No one has to make a donation, but if you’d like to the button is always in the sidebar.

Can I write off my donation?

No, not at this time, as we are currently not a non-profit.  A nonprofit organization exists to serve a group, not an individual, and at this stage we are able to help a selected person or persons at one time.  We are however, actively looking into this, and if this changes we will be sure to let everyone know!

Where does my hard earned money go if I donate or advertise here?

Donations made via this website, and all corporate donations are allocated 100% to accomplishing our Rally Missions.  Advertising revenue covers operating expenses, web maintenance, marketing, and rally missions (with a ratio of 50% to missions and 50% operating, maintenance, and marketing.)
